By accessing or using WatSub ("Service"), operated by WatSub Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you may not access or use the Service under any circumstances.
3. Description of Service
WatSub is an AI-powered newsletter curation platform that allows users to create personalised newsletter subscriptions based on natural-language prompts. The Service aggregates publicly available content and delivers curated digests to registered users via email.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice.
4. Account Registration & Security
To access the Service, you must register for an account by providing a valid email address and a secure password. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your password and restrict access to your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@watsub.ai of any unauthorised use of your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
- Transmit any unsolicited commercial communications or spam.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest data from the Service without our prior written consent.
- Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits any other person from using or enjoying the Service.
6. Subscriptions & Billing
WatSub offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Features available under each tier are described on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at checkout.
You authorise us to charge your nominated payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy. You may cancel your paid subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice to your registered email address.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and designs — are the exclusive property of WatSub Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Third-party content curated and displayed in your newsletters remains the property of its respective owners. WatSub does not claim ownership over such third-party content.
You retain ownership of any prompts or customisation data you provide. By submitting such data, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Third-Party Links & Content
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or display content aggregated from third-party sources. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. Your interactions with third-party sites are governed solely by their respective terms and policies.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WATSUB INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WatSub Inc. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall do so.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date, and where appropriate, by sending an email to your registered address. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
